ONIONATED

It had been only less than a week that I felt like sharing personal opinions and insights on Instagram. My Goodness, it was overwhelming. I began it as a personal growth process so that I could become more articulate and crisper in building insights.
However, in this pursuit I lost the fun in doing the things I loved. I felt under constant pressure of having to share insights lest becoming obsolete in the stream of ideas steered by the algorithm.
Before anybody could criticize me as being too opinionated, I realised that social media itself was onionated- layered, complex and bringing tears to my eyes. I choose to keep my insights for myself and my public journal here and say no to such overwhelming form of media.
Moreover, this has simply taught me to respect social media creators even more. I respect them for being able to keep their sanity while being on the social media.
